About Euan
Euan McLaughlin is a Glasgow-based multi-instrumentalist and producer, originally from Edinburgh. Euan has established himself as a highly sought-after session player and collaborator, working with a diverse range of artists and performing at major events such as Glastonbury, Boomtown Fair, Celtic Connections, DubCamp and Festival Interceltique De Lorient. Nominated for the Musician of the Year award at the MG Alba Scots Trad Music Awards in 2023, Euan performs with Valtos, An Dannsa Dub, and many more.
Euan will be leading our fiddle workshop on Sunday 5th October at 10am, in the Duke of Rothesay Highland Games Pavilion. More information to follow on this workshop. All attendees must bring their own instruments.

About Kenneth
Kenneth MacFarlane is an accomplished piper, whistle player and composer from Glasgow. Kenneth graduated from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland with a Honours degree in Traditional Music - Piping, and has since worked on an array of different musical projects, including releasing solo work, and now regularly performs with his trio, Beatha, who performed at Braemar Folk Festival in 2024.
Kenneth will be leading our whistle workshop on Sunday 5th October at 10am, in the Duke of Rothesay Highland Games Pavilion. This workshop will be aimed at players of all abilities, from beginners through to advanced and material will be tailored to suit attendees, through the teaching of new tunes. All attendees must bring their own instruments.

About Eilidh
Eilidh Cormack, from the Isle of Skye, won the Ladies’ Gold Medal at the Royal National Mòd on her first attempt aged 18, and was hailed Gaelic Singer of the Year at the MG ALa Scots Trad Music Awards in 2018. Gaelic singing runs in the Cormack family, and Eilidh has been performing from an early age. She currently performs with Valtos and Sian.
Join Eilidh in an informal session on Gaelic song. This workshop will explore songs composed by women with a particular focus on work songs, songs of love and loss and the stories behind them all. The workshop will be delivered mostly in English, and all levels of Gaelic ability are very welcome. Thugainn a sheinn – come along and sing with us!
