The Fife Arms
Since the first festival in 2021, we have received generous support from The Fife Arms. We have hosted our foot-stomping Welcome and Late Night Sessions in the Invercauld Mews Bar every year, and other events within The Fife Arms, including sessions and song circles.
Built in the 19th century, The Fife Arms is a Braemar landmark, and a Category B listed building. Its size is evidence of the popularity of Braemar in the wake of Queen Victoria’s visits and her purchase of Balmoral, just 15 minutes from the village. Today, it has been transformed into a luxurious, award-winning hotel, offering first-class accommodation, dining, cultural experiences and more for its guests.

Royal Lochnagar Distillery
We are delighted to have continued support from Royal Lochnagar Distillery, located on the Balmoral Estate, just a mile away from Balmoral Castle. The distillery was given it’s name in 1848, following a visit from Queen Victoria and Prince Albert.
To this day, Royal Lochnagar uses traditional methods of distillation to create their single malts. Through these methods, and the pure water of the nearby crystal clear Scarnock springs, Royal Lochnagar creates a golden and delicious Highland single malt Scotch whisky.
